The Management of Ssingo Ssaza confirmed the new technical team to steer the team for the 2025 season in the prestigious Buganda Kingdom Masaza football tournament.
Experienced tactician Edward Golola is the technical director of the team with former Kampala Queens coach Hamza Lutalo as their head coach.
Golola won the competition in 2013 with Mawokota when they beat Ssingo at the last final to be held at Nakivubo courtesy of a Farouk Miya sole goal. Last year he served as technical director at record winners Gomba.
Bashir Ssemuyaba and Ndawula Ismail are the first and second assistants at the two time Masaza Cup champions.
Kato Ssenyange will serve as the goalkeeping coach at Ssingo who last won the competition in 2018 when they beat Buddu in the shootout win at Mandela National Stadium under Shafik Bisaso’s stewardship.
Last year, Ssingo was under Simon Peter Mugerwa who joined Kyaggwe as they bid for their maiden Masaza Cup triumph this term.
Ssingo are previous winners of the premier event in 2015 and 2018. Buddu are the reigning Buganda Masaza Cup champions following their 1-0 win over Kyaggwe last year.
