The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has suspended BUL FC head coach Abbey Kikomeko for six months from all football related activities.
During BUL FC’s Stanbic Uganda Cup Quarterfinal exit to Kitara FC at Butema Royal Park on Easter Sunday, Kikomeko violently attacked a steward and threatened match officials.
In the development from FUFA, Kikomeko will begin his suspension immediately.
“The FUFA Disciplinary Panel has imposed an immediate six-month suspension from all football-related activities on BUL FC Coach Kikomeko Abbey for his violent conduct towards a steward as well as the violent and threatening conduct towards match officials during the Stanbic Uganda Cup match between Kitara FC and BUL FC.” Read the statement from FUFA
Kikomeko has also been fined Shs5M by the Federation. The development means that Kikomeko will miss the rest of the season with his suspension ending early next season.
