New Schedules for SC Villa Vs KCCA, NEC FC Vs BUL League Games

The Uganda Premier league secretariat has made some adjustments in the league fixtures to accommodate the Stanbic Uganda Cup Semifinals.

“The UPL Secretariat has made a slight adjustment to the dates for Match Days 27–29 in order to accommodate the proposed Stanbic Uganda Cup first and second leg match dates.
Accordingly, the fixtures have been adjusted.” Reads a statement from UPL

On Saturday, Vipers will host Kitara FC in the first leg of the two legged semifinal with the return fixture slated for 17th May. KCCA will battle with Kataka FC on Sunday, 4th May with the second leg scheduled for 18th May.

In the adjustments made by UPL, the league contest between rivals SC Villa and KCCA FC has been brought forward.

Initially the game was slated for Friday 9th May but will now be played on Wednesday, 7th May at Muteesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku.

On the same day, second placed NEC FC will entertain BUL FC while leaders Vipers SC will face off with bottom placed Mbale Heroes with both games to be played under the floodlights of Lugogo and Kitende.

Kitara FC will visit Express FC on Tuesday, 6th May, the fixture was initially slated for 10th May at Hamz Stadium in Nakivubo.

On Saturday, 10th May, BUL FC will lock horns with Vipers SC at Njeru Technical center while NEC FC will visit relegation bound Soltilo Bright Stars.

KCCA will host Wakiso Giants whereas URA FC will take on Express FC in the Nakivubo derby on 10th May.

The mouthwatering contest between Kitara FC and Vipers SC has also been brought forward from 17th May to 14th May. It should be noted that the second leg fixture of the Stanbic Uganda Cup between the two sides at Butema Royal Park will now be held on 17th May.
