Okello dropped as Byekwaso makes wholesale changes to starting eleven against Guinea

Uganda Cranes head coach Morley Byekwaso has dropped Allan Okello as African Nations Championships team captain.

According to sources, Okello has been dropped for not being vocal and Rogers Torach will now take over responsibility for the rest of the CHAN campaign.

Meanwhile, Byekwaso has made five changes in the Uganda Cranes starting eleven to play Guinea at Mandela National Stadium in Namboole tonight.

Regan Mpande, Herbert Achai, Hillary Mukundane and Abdul Karim Watambala are the mmchanges in the team to play Guinea.

Patrick Jonah Kakande, Arnold Odong, Gideon Odong, Emmanuel Anyama are the other players who drop to the bench.

Uganda Cranes need to win to keep their chances of prevailing past the group stage on home soil alive.
