Rogers Mato and Travis Mutyaba have joined the Uganda Cranes camp at the Avani Resort Hotel in Botswana’s Capital Gaborone.
The arrival of the two forwards on Tuesday evening means it is now full house in the Cranes camp.
Mato who plays for FK Vardar in North Macedonia has three goals in the ongoing 2026 World Cup Qualifiers and is expected to play a crucial role for the Cranes in their final Group G qualification games.
Mato has also been in fine form for his club and currently leads the scoring chart in North Macedonia with eight goals.
Mutyaba on the other hand features for CS Sfaxien in Tunisia.

The camp therefore has all the 26 players that were summoned by coach Paul Put last week to prepare for the final two FIFA World Cup qualifier games against Botswana and Algeria.

Uganda will lock horns with Botswana on Thursday, 9th October 2025 in Francistown and end the campaign away to Algeria on Tuesday, 14th October 2025.
Uganda is second placed in Group G with 15 points, four behind leaders Algeria who need one more win to secure a place in the World Cup due in the USA, Mexico and Canada.
