JKL Lady Dolphins have clinched the 2025 Women’s National Basketball League title with a 4-1 series win over JT Lady Jaguars in the best of seven finals.
This JKL Lady Dolphins fifth title overall and the third consecutive championship.
The champions lost Game one in the finals with Jaguars winning 69-52 before their 52-38 triumph in Game two and 77-59 in Game three.
JKL won Game four 69-61 and sealed the title with a 69-68 win in game five of the series.
In game five, Hope Akello managed 14 points and 18 rebounds while Rita Imanishimwe and Becky Longom each scored 11 points for JKL
Mercy Batamuliza had a contribution of 14 points and 14 rebounds while Brenda Kayaga had a game high 24 points.
JKL Lady Dolphins has now won five NBL titles in 2018, 2019, 2023, 2024 and 2025.
