NEC FC have completed the signing of midfielder Ramsey Kawooya from Express FC.
Kawooya becomes the 9th signing of NEC FC in the ongoing mid-season transfer window.
Kawooya had re-joined the Red Eagles in the second round of the previous season after spending six months at BUL FC.
Before his first stint at Express, Kawooya played for Swedish clubs Vaxjo United, Karlskrona FC, Somaliska and FK Almeboda Linneryd.
His arrival adds more depth in the NEC midfield that also has Dan Shabena, Shamir Kimwero, Siraje Sentamu and another new signing Tony Atukunda.
Kawooya is the 5th player to switch from Express to NEC following Richard Basangwa, Hakim Wandera, Rashid Kawawa and Muhammad Ssenoga Kagawa.
Goalkeeper Juma Mutebi and striker Samuel Ssekamatte Kayongo from Lugazi FC and UPDF FC respectively.
Hannington Ssebwalunyo and defender Ibrahim Kiyemba have also been rewarded with new two year contracts each.
