FUFA, through its Football Competitions Department director Shawn Mubiru has revealed the dates and fixtures for the 2026 Super 8 tournament.
Teams that finished in the top eight slots of the previous Uganda Premier League season alwaya tussle it out in preparation for the new campaign.
According to the fixtures, the tournament is expected to start on 1st August 2026 with the quarterfinal first leg between KCCA FC and BUL FC and SC Villa playing Maroons, both games scheduled to take place at MTN Omondi Stadium.
On Sunday, 2nd August Kitara FC will battle with Entebbe UPPC while NEC FC will entertain Police FC, both games will be held at Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo.

The return legs will take place between Thursday, 6th August and Friday 7th of the same month at Hamz Stadium and MTN Omondi Respectively.
The winners between KCCA FC and BUL FC will face off with either Kitara FC or Entebbe UPPC in the semifinal while the victors between SC Villa and Maroons FC will lock horns with either NEC FC or Police FC in the semifinal encounter.
The semifinal ties are slated for 10th and 11th August with the tournament slated to climax on Saturday, 15th August at MTN Omondi as per the fixture list.
SC Villa won the competition last year after their 2-0 win over NEC FC in the final that was held at FUFA Kadiba Stadium.
