Arua Hill beat UPDF to earn first victory of the season

Arua Hill SC got off the mark with a 2-0 victory over UPDF FC at Paridi Stadium in Adjumani.

Rashid Kawawa and captain Gaddafi Wahab scored for Livingston Mbabazi’s coached side, handing them their maiden win of the season.

Kawawa scored in the 23rd minute while Wahab’s goal came in the 68th minute of the game.

Despite victory Arua Hill SC remain at the bottom of the table and move to four points, same as thirteen time champions KCCA FC who lie 5th on the log.

UPDF FC remain 8th with eight points from eight games.

Arua Hill will next visit Soltilo Bright Stars on Thursday 30th November at Kavumba Recreation grounds.

On the same day, UPDF FC will host Vipers SC at Bombo Barracks Military grounds.

In the other two games played on Friday evening, KCCA FC lost to Busoga United 2-1 at FUFA Technical Center in Njeru

Maroons FC ended Express FC’s unbeaten run with a 1-0 victory at Wankulukuku.
