FUFA Women Super league: She Corporates humble Kawempe Muslim to go top

She Corporates maintained their perfect start in the FUFA Women’s Super league with a 2-0 win over Kawempe Muslim on Sunday at the MUBS Arena in Nakawa.

Second half goals from inform duo of Grace Nasongo and Favour Nambatya ensured maximum points for the hosts.

Kawempe Muslim forward Sharon Nadunga was forced off through injury after being fouled in the closing stages of the first period.

Nasongo fired She Corporates into the lead in the 65th minute before Nambatya doubled their advantage three minutes later.

The pair also scored in their 2-0 win over Uganda Martyrs High School in their opening game of the season.

She Corporates are now on six points they have garnered in two games whereas Kawempe who suffered their first defeat of the season remain on three points.

Meanwhile in other games, Olila High shred past Rines SS 5-0 whereas Tooro Queens and Kampala Queens played out to a goalless stalemate.
