Paddy Kakande will be working as Kabula head coach alongside Vipers’ head coach Fred Kajoba who will be serving as the team’s technical director in the Airtel Masaza Cup tournament.

Kakande says Kajoba’s experience and expertise will be vital in Kabula’s campaign as they target a rare knockout stage appearance.

“It will not be my first time to work with Fred Kajoba and he is my personal friend even outside football so I know what he wants. He is an experienced man and I know he will be a key factor in our search for results.”

Kakande’s enormous task will be guiding Kabula past the group stages.

“It’s been long minus our side making it past group stages and that is our primary target this year. I am very sure through team work and determination, the best results will come our way.”

Kajoba and Kakande previously worked together at Uganda Premier League side Bright Stars where former was the head coach while latter doubled as a fitness coach and a head coach of the junior team.

The 2020 Airtel Masaza Cup is expected to kick off when the current health situation in the country normalizes.
