Kitara aim to maintain table leadership in visit to unpredictable Kataka

Table leaders Kitara FC visit Kataka FC at FUFA Technical Center Njeru on Friday 18th-November in the FUFA Big league.

Kitara are yet to suffer defeat and they top the table with 13 points from five games with their last game being a comfortable 2-0 victory over second placed NEC FC at Kigaya.

On the other hand, Kataka FC are 14th with four points, their previous game was a 3-1 defeat to Mbarara City at Kakyeka.

The last two meetings between two have seen Kataka FC win one and the other ending in stalemate.

Kitara FC will miss out on the services of first choice goalkeeper Farouk Yawe and winger Lazaro Bwambale due to respective injuries but the good news is the return of captain Maxwell Owachgiu.

The visitors will look to Patrick Kaddu who is the league’s leading scorer with seven goals, Moses Sseruyidde and John Wesley Kisakye to inspire them to victory.

Hosts Kataka FC can move out of the relegation zone with victory

With victory, Kitara will stretch their lead to three points above second placed NEC FC.

The other game of the day will be between seventh Booma FC (seven points) and sixth Kaaro Karungi (seven points) at Masindi Stadium
