The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) President Aleksander Čeferin concluded his one day visit to Uganda on Wednesday.
Čeferin praised the Aliguma Foundation over projects in Acholi Quarters set up to help the unprivileged children.
“This was amazing, it was an emotional experience for me, I think we should come more time and see what real life looks like and I am grateful to the foundation.” Said Čeferin
Ritah Aliguma, the CEO Aliguma Foundation stated that Čeferin’s visit is an inspiration to the ghetto youths in the community
“His visit is a message of hope and love to all the young people here in the community, it’s a big inspiration and I am very sure many young people have been inspired because of his visit.” Said Ritah Aliguma the CEO Aliguma Foundation
During his visit, Čeferin who was accompanied by the state minister for Sports Hon. Peter Ogwang and the Aliguma Foundation CEO Aliguma.
Čeferin also oversaw the donation of items including Sanitary Pads, books and balls, to the children of the Slums in Acholi quarters in Kampala.
After concluding his visit to Uganda, Čeferin departed for Rwanda on Wednesday evening ahead of the FIFA Congress scheduled for Today in Kigali.
