Patrick Henry Kaddu netted a hat-trick on his debut for Kenyan Giants Gor Mahia during their league game against Vihiga Bullets on Wednesday.
Kaddu scored his hat tick in the second period of the contest as Gor Mahia thrashed Vihiga 5-0 at Kasarani.
On a memorable day for the Ugandan who also assisted in the other two goals scored by Peter Lwasa and Austin Odhiambo.
Kaddu joined Gor Mahia from Kitara FC and had been training with the Kenyan side for the past two months, but was not eligible to play as he couldn’t be registered due to a Fifa ban on the club.
Gor Mahia cleared with Fifa last week leading to the registration of eight new players.
Former URA FC skipper Shafik Kagimu who also joined Gor Mahia on a short term employment contract also made his debut.
Gor Mahia stay top of the Kenyan Premier league with 45 points from 21 matches. Vihiga Bullets remain bottom of the log with five points.
