KCCA FC captain Benjamin Ochan and defender Geoffrey Wasswa have decided to leave the club, Swift Sports Uganda understands.
The two players will leave the club after failing to agree terms on new employment contracts at KCCA FC. Both players had their previous contracts expire last month.
The 13 time Uganda Premier league champions have spent several months in negotiations with Ochan and Wasswa over contract renewals but are understood to have not formally offered the best terms to the pair.
After much thought, this website understands that both players have now concluded the time is right to part company with the club.
Swift Sports Uganda earlier reported this month that Wasswa’s future was in the balance and he was exploring options in Lithuania, Ethiopia and South Africa.
Wasswa has previously featured at Vipers SC and SC Villa.
Ochan returned to KCCA FC at the start of the 2021/22 season on a two year contract for a third spell after expedition in Zambia and Kenya with Kabwe Warriors and AFC Leopards respectively.
They join Allan Okello who returned to his parent club Paradou, John Revita and Brian Majwega at the exit door.
