Kataka FC long serving goalkeeper Edward Kasibante has joined FUFA Big League side Police FC.

Kasibante officially leaves Kataka after spending six years with the club.

He joined the Mbale based side in the 2017/18 season from the now defunct SC Victoria University.

The club has announced his departure alongside defender Robert Otim.

Kasibante is a former keeper at the national U17 and U23 level. He was part of the Matia Lule coached Cubs team in 2015.

He also featured for KCCA Soccer Academy in the FUFA Juniors League.

Just like Kasibante, Otim has also joined Police who will be seeking promotion to the topflight league.

The departure of the duo comes after the club captain Francis Odongo left the club early this month to join Uganda Premier League side Mbarara City.
