Vipers SC are interested in signing Express FC midfielder Ramsey Kawooya Ssebunya, Swift Sports reliably understands.
In a bid to add more quality in their squad, Vipers want to make Kawooya their priority signing in this January transfer window.
Kawooya has been one of the most outstanding players at Express FC this season having returned to Uganda after 12 years in Sweden.
He has made his mark in the league already as one of the most excellent passers of the ball.
His exploits have not only earned him plaudits but also a place in the national team squad that faced off with Guinea and Somalia in the World Cup Qualifiers last November.
During his stay in Europe, Kawooya featured for Vaxjo United, Karlskrona FF, Somaliska and FK Almeboda Linneryd, all in the Swedish lower divisions.
Vipers want bolster their central midfield as they head into the crucial final half of the season.
The reigning champions are currently five points behind leaders BUL FC while heading into the final match day of the first round.
