52 year old sends shockwaves in Masaza cycling competition

Saleh Muwanika 52 was among the many cyclists who took part in the 2024 Buganda Masaza Cycling competitions held in Luweero.

Muwanika, a bike mechanic was born in Kabula before shifting to Luweero Bulemeezi where he has spent most of his life.

The cyclist appreciated the Buganda sports ministry for organising the competition and promised to challenge further in the upcoming events.

“I would like to appreciate the ministry of Sports for reviving the cycling competitions. We used to have such competitions and people enjoyed and having them back is so interesting.”

“I am ready to take part in the upcoming competitions and before the minister flagged us off few expected me to complete the race but I surprised them.”

He further requested for well wishers who can help him acquire a better bicycle.

“My biggest challenge now is getting a better bicycle. I need a new one and I kindly request anyone who can help me.

The next Buganda Masaza Cycling competitions will take place in Ssingo on the 7th of July-2024
