UPDF FC hosts debutants Lugazi FC on Thursday 19th-September at Bombo Barracks Military grounds on match day two of the 2024-25 UPL season.
Both sides didn’t register victory in their respective openers.
UPDF FC played to a one all draw with Maroons at Luzira, thanks to Hussein Zzinda who scored a late equaliser for the Army men.
Lugazi FC lost 3-0 at Lugazi FC Stadium in a game their defender Rodgers Atube was sent off in the first half by referee Vincent Kavuma for a second bookable offence.

The Army side will be with out Denis Ssekitoleko, Musa Mudde and Brian Kalumba due to respective injuries.
Goalkeeper Richard Anyama is to be subjected to a late fitness test.
LUGAZI FC
They will miss out the services Atube who was sent off in the league opener but they are boosted by the return of Richard Ayiko who is recovering from sickness.
Sadick Ssempigi Lugazi FC’s coach believes there is room for improvement and anticipates a good result,
“We have tried to improve on the areas we did not perform well in the opener a lot has been improved in both the defence and attack so we feel its an opportunity to bounce back by giving back”
“Despite UPDF being home with a good pitch it also favors us we expect the best.”
This will be the first top flight meeting between the two sides.
