Record Buganda Masaza Cup winners Gomba have confirmed the signing of last year’s top scorer Robert Ssewanyana.
Ssewanyana joins Gomba from Buluuli and becomes their second acquisition following Michael Abura from Mawokota.
Ssewanyana was last year’s top scorer in the prestigious competition with seven goals.

He also scored 15 goals for Simba FC in the Buganda Regional League this term.
Gomba are five time Masaza Cup winners with their triumphs coming 2004, 2009, 2014, 2017 and 2020.
Under the stewardship of Simon Ddungu alias Dunga Gomba are in Bulange group along with defending champions Buddu, Busiro, Busujju, Ssese and Ssewanyana’s former home Buluuli.
Gomba will open their campaign against Buddu on Saturday 21st June at Kitovu Sports Arena.
