According to Micky Jnr and Tanzania based journalist Felix Jason, AS FAR are closing on Okello with the transfer to the Moroccan side very imminent. David GOMBE Uganda Athletics President Dominic Otuchet says Ugandan athletics would win even more world medals if government gave the federation just half of what is allocated to football. Ocen, nicknamed Akanji, was a key figure for Calvary as they gained promotion to the Uganda Premier League during the 2024/25 season. Swift Sports Uganda understands that Jjonga has signed a two year employment contract with the Red Eagles ahead of their rebuild for the 2026/27 campaign. According to Felix Jason, Wydad Casablanca have submitted a $700,000 to sign the Uganda Cranes offensive midfielder from the Tanzanian champions.
