SC Villa have reached an agreement to sign defender Najib Tusaba Gwaido from relegated Mbarara City FC.
Tusaba is a free agent following the expiration of his six months employment contract with the Ankole Lions.
Swift Sports understands that the record champions have tabled a contract of two years.
He has previously featured for Jinja based side BUL FC, Kansai Plascon (now defunct), Onduparaka, Mbarara City FC and UPDF FC.

Tusaba was part of the squad that led army side UPDF FC to the top flight during the 2019/20 season under head coach Stephen Bogere.
The record champions also captured the signature of Hamza Mulambuzi from Proline FC.
SC Villa completed the previous season 12th with 33 points from the 30 games they played.
